Environment Officer

•Audit & Compliance-• • Supports the GU Head and Lead Environment & Safety GUs in compliance with local, state and national environmental legislation
•Audit & Compliance- • Stays updated with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation where applicable •Audit & Compliance-• Supports in performing regular environmental audits to monitor emissions, contaminations and damages •Liaison-• Supports the GU Head and Lead Environment & Safety GUs in liaison with regulatory bodies including ministry of Environment, State Bodies, Pollution Board to ensure compliances with respect •Liaison-• Liaises with internal customers in all departments in the GU to effectively implement environmental compliance programs •Environment management-• Supports the GU Head Lead Environment & Safety GUs in implement environmental policies, programs and practices •Environment management-• Manages the documentation process and submission for obtaining the required environmental clearances •Environment management-• Manages tools and systems to monitor performance of the implemented policies, programs and practices through Online Monitoring system (CAAQMS, OCEMS, WM) •Environment management-• Conducts periodic Environmental monitoring and data analysis of Air, Stack, Noise, Soil, Water, Ground water •Environment management-• Manages planning, scheduling and adherence to dumping of waste, emission levels to ensure effective solid waste management •Environment management-• Updates the required documents and stakeholders on the GU on latest regulatory guidelines with respect environment monitoring and prepare plan of action to deal with changes i •Environment management-• Supports in preparation reports for environment monitoring and reporting and for educating internal customers, clients, regulatory authorities about environmental practices fo •Environment management-• Facilitates session in providing training to update employees regarding environment related compliances •Perfomanece management & Capability building-• Actively takes up responsibility for improving performance as per the feedback shared during quarterly/ mid-year or annual performance review •Perfomanece management & Capability building-• Ensures attendance for all the relevant trainings that are conducted\
