As a Brake & Suspension CAE Analysis professional, your role involves preparing finite element models of Vehicle Chassis components and subsystems, with a focus on Brake, Suspension & Steering systems. You will be responsible for applying loading and boundary conditions for structural, thermal, and modal analysis of chassis parts, particularly brakes. Your duties include conducting CAE Analysis, correlating results with actual tests, interpreting results, and preparing detailed analysis reports. Your key responsibilities also include efficiently executing CAE activities for model development, Value Enhancement, and Quality resolution projects at various product development stages. You will participate in troubleshooting problems, analyzing issues, proposing countermeasures, and supporting their implementation. Additionally, you will assist the design team in generating and evaluating weight and cost reduction proposals and contribute to the improvement and development of CAE methodology. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong technical understanding of Chassis parts and subsystems, with a focus on brakes. You are expected to have the ability to perform virtual validation by interpreting physical test conditions. Proficiency in Noise and Vibration, Fatigue & Theory of Elasticity is essential. You should have a solid grasp of FEA, analysis at part, sub-system, and vehicle levels, as well as experience with tools like Hypermesh, Hyperview, Estech Sequal, ABAQUS, and NVH analysis using MSC Nastran. Desired qualifications include experience in Brake parts NVH, Structural CAE, and knowledge of Suspension & Steering CAE. We are seeking a passionate and experienced NVH Testing Lead to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) testing for our product- Suspension systems on Component and Vehicle level. The ideal candidate will bring technical depth, hands-on rig and vehicle testing expertise, and leadership in analysing and resolving NVH challenges across chassis and suspension systems. Role & responsibilities Lead NVH testing activities across development stages component, sub-system, and full vehicle. Plan and execute NVH tests as a part of product development on bench level and vehicle level as per request from stakeholders. Coordinate usage of NVH rigs (e.g., Semi -anechoic chambers, Multi axis Corner simulators, 4 Poster Vehicle Rig) for precise diagnosis and tuning, characterize component function/physics to link it with NVH attributes. Collaborate with design, CAE, and quality teams to provide actionable recommendations. Develop test plans, analyse time-domain and frequency-domain data, and prepare comprehensive reports. Guide junior engineers and work with suppliers for instrumentation, sensors, and test software. Interface with OEM clients and internal stakeholders to align NVH targets and deliverables. Required Skills & Experience 8 to 12 years of hands-on NVH testing experience in automotive product development (preferably chassis/suspension). Proficiency in tools like Siemens LMS, Brel & Kjr, Dewesoft, or similar. Strong understanding of NVH signature analysis, road load data acquisition, acoustic transfer functions, and isolation techniques. Working knowledge of relevant standards (ISO, SAE, OEM NVH specs). Ability to interpret CAE/FEA NVH results and correlate with test data. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical /automotive engineering. Experience with NVH measurements/ Data Analysis/Interpretation/ Root Causing/ Drawing Concluson Exposure to global OEM/NVH validation programs is desirable. Six Sigma, DFMEA, or reliability engineering knowledge will be an advantage.
