Location:

Role Summary

ensuring statutory environmental compliance, obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals, and implementing environmental management practices

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory Compliance & Approvals

  • Manage and ensure compliance with

    Environmental Clearance (EC)

    ,

    Consent to Establish (CTE)

    ,

    Consent to Operate (CTO)

    , and

    Hazardous Waste Management (HWM)

    requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, and track

    Form 1, Form 1A, compliance reports

    , and other statutory documentation.
  • Coordinate with

    MoEF&CC, CPCB, SPCB/DPCC

    , and other regulatory authorities for approvals, renewals, and inspections.

2. Environmental Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor

    air, water, noise, and soil quality

    at project sites through approved agencies.
  • Review monitoring reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual

    environmental compliance reports

    .

3. Project-Level Environmental Management

  • Support

    EIA studies

    and implementation of mitigation measures during construction and operations.
  • Integrate environmental safeguards into

    project planning and execution

    .
  • Manage

    solid and hazardous waste disposal

    in compliance with statutory norms.

4. Sustainability & EMS

  • Implement and maintain

    ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS)

    .
  • Support

    sustainability initiatives, ESG reporting

    , and green practices across projects.
  • Conduct environmental audits, internal assessments, and awareness programs.

5. Coordination & Training

  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants, and EHS teams to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct

    environmental awareness sessions, toolbox talks

    , and training for site staff.

Educational Qualification

  • Mandatory:

    M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field preferred

Experience

  • 1–5 years

    of relevant experience in

    real estate / construction / infrastructure projects

  • Hands-on experience in handling

    EC, CTE, CTO, HWM, EIA, and statutory compliances

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    Indian environmental laws & regulations

  • Regulatory liaison with government authorities
  • Environmental monitoring & reporting
  • ISO 14001 EMS
  • Documentation & compliance management
  • Good communication and coordination skills
