Entry Level Architect

Role Overview: You will be a Junior Architect at Greenbanana, a social impact startup dedicated to transforming India's construction industry through sustainable design practices. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the design, operations, and R&D teams to create innovative architecture and infrastructure using our eco-friendly composite materials. This hands-on position is perfect for individuals passionate about sustainable design and eager to contribute to a more environmentally friendly future. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in designing and detailing enclosures, site infrastructure, and prefab structures utilizing Greenbanana's materials. - Generate 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and visualizations for proposals and internal research and development. - Collaborate closely with the product and materials team to ensure the integration of structural performance and design aesthetics. - Support field visits, conduct site measurements, and create as-built drawings. - Coordinate effectively with vendors, clients, and project execution teams to ensure seamless project implementation. - Take part in design presentations, documentation processes, and provide input in design feedback loops. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Revit or Rhino would be advantageous. - Demonstrated interest in green buildings, circular design, or alternative construction materials. - Basic knowledge of construction drawings and experience in site coordination. - Strong design sensibilities and a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
