About MCLAP

The Meru Career Readiness, Leadership & Life Skills Academic Enrichment

Programme (MCLAP) is a structured Financial literacy, Entrepreneurship, Life-skills

and Career readiness program designed to equip students with essential 21st-century

competencies. MCLAP focuses on areas such as self-awareness, communication,

collaboration, critical thinking, financial literacy, citizenship, well-being, and real-life

application of learning. The program emphasizes experiential learning, reflection,

student voice, and culmination events to demonstrate applied understanding.

Role Summary

The Entrepreneurship Curriculum Developer will design and develop a comprehensive

Grades 512 Entrepreneurship curriculum consisting of,

• Pre session reading material,

• Teacher manuals,

• Case studies,

• Post session Assessments,

• Activities,

• Additional learning resources

aligned with MCLAP and focused on creativity, problem-solving, design thinking,

customer understanding, business model fundamentals, and innovation. aligned with

Key Responsibilities

• Develop learning resource (Grades 5–12), including detailed lesson plans,

activities, case studies, worksheets, and assessments.

• Ensure spiral progression and age-appropriate scaffolding across the

curriculum.

• Create visually engaging, student-friendly learning materials.

• Develop teacher manuals with pedagogy guidance, notes, and differentiated

strategies.

• Develop engaging hands-on learning experiences such as problem

identification tasks, empathy exercises, prototyping modules, and analytical

tools.

• Conduct research on global entrepreneurship education models.

• Integrate relevant case studies, examples, and emerging trends (digital

products, sustainability, innovation methods).

• Prepare learner-friendly materials including slides, templates, prototypes,

storyboards, and reflection tools.

Essential Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, or

related fields.

• Training or certification in Instructional Design, Design Thinking, or Curriculum

Development is preferred.

• 3–7 years’ experience in:

  • Curriculum development (school / K–12 preferred)

  • Entrepreneurship or Design thinking or creative problem-solving

facilitation.

• Strong understanding of Design Thinking frameworks, Innovation methods

(SCAMPER, brainstorming tools, MVP, prototyping), Business fundamentals

(revenue models, cost basics, value proposition, customer understanding),

Market research basics, Creativity and problem-solving pedagogy.

• Excellent academic writing and content creation skills.

• Ability to simplify complex concepts for younger learners.

• Strong visual thinking and storyboarding capability.

• High creativity, attention to detail, and learner-centered approach.

• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite; familiarity with design tools (Canva,

Figma) is an advantage.
