Enterprise Solution Architect

As an Enterprise Solution Architect specializing in Java and Python, you will be responsible for delivering custom integrated solutions to clients across various development layers. Your expertise in full stack development, backend services, middleware, and UI/UX will be crucial in meeting client requirements. It is essential that you have hands-on experience in deploying solutions to AWS cloud. Your role will involve facilitating requirements gathering and analysis workshops to capture both functional and non-functional requirements from clients. You will then effectively communicate these requirements to internal product and development teams. Documenting and designing client-specific solution requirements, including acceptance criteria and necessary features to align with client business needs, will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You should be well-versed in enterprise software full stack development, with proficiency in backend development, scripting languages such as Java and Python, and experience with DB connectors. A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is required, with a degree in power systems considered a plus. With 8 to 10 years of experience in the electricity industry related to software solution architecting, you are expected to possess strong IT Enterprise Architecture skills, including knowledge of ITNW, Data Flow, and Complex SW Application deployments. Your ability to trace requirements to design specifications and develop test plans/cases is crucial. Automation of processes and utilization of scripting solutions to support product development are skills that will be valuable in this role. Furthermore, you should have hands-on experience in Java and Python enterprise application development. A good understanding of emerging energy industry trends, particularly in DER management, distribution planning, IT, SCADA, and asset management, is highly desirable. Nice-to-have qualifications include a master's degree, AWS Certification, hands-on experience in DevSecOps and cybersecurity, familiarity with cloud-based solutions (Azure and/or GCP), utility integration experience, and knowledge of power system analysis software like OpenDSS, CYME, Powerfactory, Synergi, etc. Your expertise and experience as an Enterprise Solution Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of utility clients in the energy industry.,
