Enterprise Resilience Governance Professional

1. Technical Knowledge:

• High-level understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their implications for resilience and recovery.
• Working knowledge of technology architecture, including how infrastructure, applications, data, and integrations fit together in complex estates.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 2005 and related best practices.
• Understanding of how IT service management, cyber security, and architecture contribute to resilience.

Any other conditions pertaining to the role special conditions such as working between sites, hours etc.

• Availability to travel to our UK EU offices as required.
• Occasional out-of-hours work to support release implementations.
• Being prepared to work longer hours if needed to support the delivery of Enterprise Resilience Strategy

• Ability to travel to our overseas offices as required

Key Responsibilities:

The role will bring together the Enterprise Resilience thinking across multiple domains in DG Enterprise Resilience Governance, IT Disaster recovery, business continuity, information security, response management and regulatory compliance:
Key responsibilities include: 1. Provide analyses of detailed complex regulatory and process data and to provide suggestions for process enhancements 2. Support Enterprise Resilience Team in delivering multiple reporting requirements to high specification 3. Support detailed Disaster Recovery and Severe But Plausible Scenarios 4. Ability to engage stakeholders across multiple disciplines and multiple territories 5. Support the delivery of routine threat assessments on technology resilience and risk. 6. Responsible for supporting the delivery of mechanisms for monitoring performance against impact tolerances, through a suite of KRI s, stress tests and remediation plans. 7. Tracking and reviewing business requirements for delivery of technical resilience against timelines. 8. Ability to prioritise critical information for escalation. 9. Support on the delivery of board level papers and supporting documentation. 10. Ensure DG s Disaster Recovery Matrix is maintained and up to date. 11. Be a resilience business partner to support business in delivering against agreed resilience metrics. 12. Support planning for major events and respond to specific threats to operations as required. 13. Support resilience reviews of internationally based staff as required.
