Enterprise Data Warehouse Business Analyst

As an Enterprise Data Warehouse Business Analyst (EDW BA) in our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading the analysis, documentation, and delivery of business requirements for data warehouse initiatives. Your primary responsibility will involve working closely with business users, data architects, developers, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of scalable and business-aligned data solutions. Your expertise in data modeling, insurance domain knowledge, and end-to-end business analysis will be essential for excelling in this role. Your key responsibilities will include leading the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and data requirements for EDW solutions. You will be expected to translate business needs into comprehensive functional specifications and data mapping documents, collaborate with technical teams to design and validate data models and architecture, drive workshops and stakeholder sessions to ensure alignment on requirements and objectives, support data quality validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage, ensure traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC, and maintain updated documentation. Additionally, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practices in data analysis and modeling. To be successful in this role, you must possess 7-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, with a focus on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects. You should have strong expertise in Data Modeling techniques, a deep understanding of the Insurance domain (including policy, claims, and customer data), exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, proficiency in gathering requirements, creating BRDs/FRDs, and supporting Agile teams.
