Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate ERA and EFT enrollment with multiple payers and clearinghouses.
Accurately complete and submit enrollment forms to insurance payers, clearinghouses, and financial institutions.
Track enrollment status and follow up with payers to ensure timely completion.
Verify ERA and EFT setup completion in practice management/billing systems.
Maintain accurate documentation of payer enrollment requirements and enrollment progress.
Collaborate with billing, payment posting, and RCM teams to resolve enrollment-related issues.
Communicate with providers, payers, and clearinghouses to troubleshoot errors or delays.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific regulations for electronic transactions.
Maintain and update an internal database of payer-specific enrollment processes and turnaround times.
Provide status reports and updates to leadership regarding enrollment progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, billing, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, payer enrollment, or ERA/EFT setup.
Strong knowledge of ERA/835 transactions, EFT, EDI processes, and payer/provider enrollment workflows.
Familiarity with clearinghouses and practice management systems (e.g., Availity, Change Healthcare, Waystar).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple enrollments simultaneously.
Strong communication and follow-up skills with payers and providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
