English Teacher

Job Title: English Teacher (Grades 4 to 10) Location: V.K INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ADD: SHIVA COLONY, SEATHPUR, NEAR SEC-91, FARIDABAD, HARYANA-121003 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students from Grades 4 to 10. The teacher should foster a love for reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking while adhering to the school’s curriculum and educational goals. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, comprehension, and literature appropriate for each grade level. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles. Develop lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and projects. Conduct regular tests and evaluations to assess student performance. Provide constructive feedback and maintain student progress records. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Encourage student participation in English-related extracurricular activities (debates, drama, elocution, etc.). Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher meetings. Participate in school events and contribute to the school community. Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field. B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory in some institutions). Prior teaching experience in middle and/or high school is preferred. Strong command of English (spoken and written). Good classroom management and organizational skills. Familiarity with digital tools for teaching (e.g., smart boards, online platforms).
