TGT English – Roles and Responsibilities1. Teaching & Classroom Instruction

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Teach grammar, literature, writing skills, speaking, and listening effectively.
• Design differentiated activities to meet varying student needs and learning levels.
• Use modern pedagogical methods, including activity-based learning, group work, and digital tools.

2. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring

• Prepare and administer class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Identify learning gaps and plan remedial classes or personalized support.

3. Classroom Management

• Create a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Manage student behaviour through consistent expectations and positive reinforcement.
• Encourage participation, confidence, and communication skills.

4. Curriculum Planning & Academic Duties

• Participate in syllabus planning, question-paper setting, and exam evaluation.
• Integrate co-scholastic activities such as debates, elocution, reading programs, drama, etc.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and study materials.
• Attend academic meetings, workshops, and in-service training.

5. Communication & Professional Conduct

• Maintain regular communication with parents through PTMs, calls, and reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues for cross-curricular activities and school events.
• Adhere to school policies, ethical standards, and administrative guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
