Position and Location

Entry level Research Consultant (remote) position is part of Polixis’ strategically important growing team in charge of collecting and analyzing regulatory, sanction, and other risk-relevant data. It is an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge in Compliance, Political, Sanctions, Country, and Research analysis.

This is a remote position for 6 months. Upon successful completion, it may lead to a new consultancy offer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on individuals and organisations by utilising open-source resources. Focus on identifying and analysing Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), monitoring and researching sanction lists and global watchlists.
• Conduct regulatory research and monitor regulatory developments in Asian countries.
• Create comprehensive country profiles with an emphasis on political, corporate, and regulatory contexts.
• Use , English or other regional languages to access and interpret original-language materials and documents.
• Analyse and integrate information from various sources to generate accurate findings.
• Present findings to the Team Lead and other stakeholders as required
• Demonstrate initiative and a strong desire for continuous professional development.
• Incorporate feedback from supervisors and adapt work practices accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, or similar;
• Interest in politics, AML-related developments, finance, and data-driven solutions;
• Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets;
• Excellent knowledge of English is a must

Payment

• USD 400 per month gross payment
