Engineer/Senior Engineer - MEP (QA&QC)

Roles and Responsibilities

1.

• Implementation of quality assurance plan which comprises quality standards for all stages of project execution and development that are required to be met to maintain Aparnas excellence in quality including meeting regulatory requirements and relevant standards.
• Check all the construction activities of site and report the findings regularly to reporting manager with back up data, analysis and comments.
• Pre, During & Post checking’s in accordance with Quality App/Checklist and timely preparation of site Quality Reports.
• Check the activities of PMC whether all the construction activities of sites have been checked as per the Quality App/checklists or not and report to the reporting manager.
• Follow-up for the status of Non-Compliance Reports raised by PMC/QA and take necessary action for closure of the same.
• Ensure that the execution team/external vendors/contractors adhere to all quality procedures/work policies & Methodologies.
• Overall responsibility for procedures and compliance that ensure basic safety norms at sites are met.

• Ensure relevant standards and codes are available in project QA&QC office as controlled documents.
• Assure all the testing methods available for incoming materials.
• Effective implementation of QC documentation during construction phase.
• Maintaining QC documents including certificates, calibration, test results etc.
• Assisting in preparation of master list for MEP lab equipment and updating periodically.
• Identify, Calibrate and maintain master list of testing and measuring equipment
• Ensure & implementation of material testing Plans, Check Lists and other quality formats.
• Assisting Quality In-charge in conducting welder qualification test for all incoming welders & maintain the records.
• Assisting QC In-charge in Timely submission of weekly/monthly reports to HO.

3. People

• Training Program for Staff and workers to create awareness on construction site quality assurance requirements.
• Training Program for QC Staff and workers to create awareness on Quality Control requirements.

4. Processes

• Follow department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance in a timely manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B. Tech/ BE (Mechanical/Electrical) with 3-8 years relevant experience as site QA&QC in construction of

  High Rise residential buildings

  and

  High End villas

  in

  Real Estate Industry

• Knowledge on relevant codes and quality standards
• Experience in QA/QC Documentation
• Knowledge on construction sequence, key hold points, tolerances in MEP activities
• Knowledge on welding techniques& NDT.
• Tools & Software: AutoCAD, MS Excel, Word, PPT etc.,
