Engineering Team Lead

1. Previous

   Team management experience

   for 10 to 20 engineers - Capable to do Performance management, Objective setting, Work planning and allocation or other leadership activities
2. Minimum

   2 years of engineering experience

   to develop chemical/ fertilizer/ detergent/soap /surfactants plants.
3. Technically

   sound with piping engineering

   (Basic engineering and Detail engineering) and able to manage designers and engineers
4. Good Communication and flexibility to adopt. Role requires 60% on technical work

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Functions as Engineering team lead and oversees technical aspects from end to end of Ballestra projects.

• Develops plot plan for FEED /Feasibility or new plant engineering from geographical survey.
• Understands EPCM methodologies and works with cross functions to control the project schedule, budgeted hours and quality.
• Manages project approvals for critical deliverables, able to thoroughly review the detailing engineering deliverables
• Accountable to resolve technical problems for all value streams engineering
• Understands clients needs; identifies and addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions.
• Interface with other area leads, Senior Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company.
• Performs Inter-discipline & discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group.
• Review and management of project and general specifications, engineering procedures and engineering policy.
• Need to participate in internal/external kick-off meeting and progress meeting with client.
• Coach and develop team, set objectives, performance management etc.
• Able to create planning and scheduling documents for multiple projects, resource management and KPI management of quality and ontime delivery.

Experience

• 15-20 years of experience within piping engineering for EPC projects.
• Diverse working experience in Technical project management, conceptual and detailed design, and construction.
• Experienced in estimation of engineering hours.
• Experienced in preparation and finalisation of general layout & plot plan.
• Knowledge of Interdisciplinary Work Processes/Interface/Deliverables
• Development of Work Breakdown Structure/Activities List
• Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of onshore and offshore structures/production facilities
