Job Description

Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.
Technical Contributions in design, architecture, product roadmap and coding
Drive roadmap execution and ensure delivery timelines.
Build and maintain distributed systems and data pipelines at scale.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to define technical vision and priorities.
Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent.
Ensure best practices in observability, performance, and reliability.

Preferred candidate profile

10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in leadership.
Strong hands-on expertise in
Golang, Java, Python, or JavaScript
.
Experience in building
distributed systems, microservices, and data pipelines
.
Familiarity with
Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
.
Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to deliver at scale.
Comfortable working in a
global team environment
.

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

Google Cloud tools (Beam, PubSub, BigQuery, Dataflow).
Spark/Hadoop.
Contributions to open-source projects.
