In this role at Frogdatas, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Python engineers, promoting best practices in software design, coding standards, and testing. You will drive the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and data-intensive SaaS platforms using Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask), REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices. Your role will involve providing technology thought leadership and guiding critical technical decisions throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborating with product and design teams to align on roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables will be essential. Ensuring high standards of code quality, security, and performance through reviews, automation, and best engineering practices will also fall under your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of Python engineers - Drive architecture and design of scalable, secure SaaS platforms - Provide technology thought leadership - Collaborate with product and design teams - Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance You will also own release planning, deployment, and CI/CD processes to ensure reliable delivery of product releases while maintaining uptime and performance for data-heavy SaaS applications. Partnering with DevOps/SRE teams to optimize cloud deployment pipelines (AWS/GCP/Azure) will be part of your role. Moreover, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing, diverse engineering team. Driving hiring processes to attract top Python talent and create growth opportunities for team members is another critical aspect. Your role will involve fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation within the team. Additionally, you will introduce and adopt modern tools, frameworks, and open-source technologies aligned with Frogdatas" SaaS and analytics needs. Championing SaaS-first principles, scalability, observability, and cost optimization will be crucial. Encouraging innovation through experimentation and continuous improvement is also part of the role. Furthermore, you will act as a bridge between engineering, architecture, product, and business stakeholders. Providing clear progress updates to leadership, highlighting risks and solutions will be important. Maintaining a culture of transparency and collaboration across distributed teams is also expected. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience - 3+ years of software development experience, with expertise in Python and SaaS platforms - 5+ years in engineering management, leading and scaling product engineering teams - Hands-on expertise in Python, microservices, and API-driven architectures - Experience in building and scaling data-intensive SaaS products in a cloud environment - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies - Understanding of databases: relational and NoSQL - Experience with DevOps practices Note: Additional details about the company are not provided in the job description.,
