What Youll Do:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Quality and Automation team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our cloud analytics and data platform products. You will drive the strategy for our testing methodologies, lead the development of advanced automation frameworks, and pioneer the integration of Artificial Intelligence into our quality processes. Your Opportunity:

• Lead, mentor, manage and grow a talented, high potential team of quality and automation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


• Define and execute the overall quality and test automation strategy for our products, from feature inception to release.


• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure.


• Own and enhance our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and high-quality software delivery.


• Spearhead the integration of AI/ML into our quality engineering processes to improve productivity, efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.


• Lead the initiative to create and deploy intelligent AI agents for automated testing, performance analysis, and anomaly detection.


• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and CloudOps teams to champion quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.


• Establish and monitor key quality metrics (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and provide visibility to stakeholders.

This opportunity is within the Test and Release Organization. Team comprises of multiple global scrum teams working towards a common goal to test and release Teradata Vantage Platform on various on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GC) with quality and performance guidelines.

What makes you a qualified candidate:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related technical discipline.


• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in building frameworks, pipelines and at least 2 years of experience in an engineering management or technical leadership role.


• Expertise in building and scaling test automation frameworks for complex enterprise software.


• Demonstrable experience in designing, building, or leading the development of AI-powered agents or similar intelligent automation solutions.

What You ll Bring

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).


• Strong practical experience and theoretical understanding of AI/ML concepts.


• Experience in Performance Testing is a plus.


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.


• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
