and be the on-the-ground leader for our new ServiceNow development hub in Bangalore. As a key partner to our Engineering Leadership in Prague and Santa Clara, you will not only lead the team but also play a pivotal role in selecting the top-tier developers who will join you.

WHAT YOULL DO

On-site Team Leadership & People Management

  • Build your team:

    Drive the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process to assemble a world-class ServiceNow development team in Bangalore.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire

    a team of approximately 10 ServiceNow developers in Bangalore, championing their professional growth and building a collaborative, positive team culture.
  • Serve as the primary, on-site point of contact

    for the Bangalore development team, handling day-to-day work issues, removing blockers, and facilitating local ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.).
  • Conduct all local people management duties

    , including 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and career development planning, ensuring your team feels supported and engaged.

Delivery & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure the successful execution and high-quality delivery

    of complex projects by the Bangalore team, including effectively incorporating contractors into the delivery process.
  • Champion and enforce coding standards

    , conducting regular code reviews in partnership with the ServiceNow Architect to provide constructive feedback and ensure a high-quality, maintainable codebase.
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

    , identifying trends and driving root cause analysis to implement preventative actions.

Global Collaboration & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner closely with the Engineering Leadership in Prague and Santa Clara

    to align the Bangalore teams work with the global capacity plan and development processes. You will be responsible for clear, proactive, and transparent upward communication.
  • Translate the global strategic vision

    from engineering leadership into actionable tasks and priorities for the Bangalore team.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders

    , including Service Owners, Product Owners, Release Train Engineer, the Release Manager, and the ServiceNow Architect, to ensure development efforts align with architectural strategy and release schedules.
  • Act as the voice of your team

    by collecting feedback from lead developers and providing crucial input to architects and product owners during planning and design phases.
  • Collaboration with other DTG teams

WHAT YOU BRING

  • BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent field Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field).
  • A proven track record of 5+ years in the tech industry

    , with at least

    2+ years in a people management or team leadership role

    .
  • Strong technical background in ServiceNow development (4+ years)

    with hands-on experience in customizations, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, integrations, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring an engineering team

    , with exceptional people management skills.
  • Experience working within a geographically distributed, global team is a significant advantage.

  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

    , with the ability to act as a reliable bridge between your local team and global leadership.
  • A strategic mindset focused on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and driving innovation.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is mandatory.
  • Experience working in SAFe team is strong plus
