About the Role

Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, architects, and developers
  
• Drive engineering excellence, innovation, and collaboration
  
• Manage team capacity, project delivery plans, and performance reviews
  

Engineering & Architecture

• Oversee design and delivery of scalable web applications using:
  

• AEM, Azure Cloud, AKS (Kubernetes)

• Microservices, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS

• Architect secure, fast, and resilient digital solutions
  
• Define and implement API, microservices, and system integration strategies
  

DevOps & Operations

• Manage CI/CD pipelines & automation (

  GitHub Actions/Jenkins

  )
• Ensure availability, scalability, and performance of platforms
  
• Monitor & troubleshoot production systems using modern observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace etc.)
  

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and Business stakeholders
  
• Translate business needs into technical execution plans
  
• Present technical updates, risks, and improvements to leadership
  

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  

• 6+ years

  of experience in web application development & leadership
• Hands-on experience with:
  

• AEM, Azure, AKS/Kubernetes

• Java, JavaScript, Python

• Microservices & API integrations

• Strong knowledge of

  DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture

• Understanding of

  WCAG accessibility

  and SEO standards
• Experience with system architecture & design documentation (UML, deployment diagrams)
  

Preferred Skills

• AEM, Kubernetes, or Java certification (ACE / CKA / OCP)
  
• Experience with TDD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
  
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations in web platforms
  
• Experience in digital transformation projects
