About the Role:

Engineering Manager

Youll play a dual roleboth as a technical leader and a people managerhelping architect scalable solutions, enforce best practices, and drive software delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers across multiple projects.
  
• Remain hands-on with development—designing, coding, and reviewing as needed (up to 40-50% of your time).
  
• Drive technical decisions and architecture discussions across .NET Core and Angular-based projects.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Data to deliver high-quality software.
  
• Implement best practices in coding, architecture, testing, and CI/CD processes.
  
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  
• Guide adoption of BI tools for reporting, analytics, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  
• Conduct regular code and design reviews to maintain quality and performance standards.
  
• Manage performance reviews, career development plans, and team engagement initiatives.
  

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years

  of overall software development experience.
• Strong experience in

  .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

  application development.
• Proficient in

  Angular (latest versions)

  for building modern web front ends.
• Deep understanding of

  database design

  ,

  SQL

  , and data modeling (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Experience with

  RESTful API development

  ,

  microservices

  , and scalable architecture.
• Exposure to

  Business Intelligence tools

  (Power BI, SSRS, or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performance teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  
• Exposure to modern engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, automated testing, and performance tuning.
  
• Passion for mentorship, team building, and continuous improvement.
