The Role

Join a passionate engineering team building scalable enterprise applications. Leverage experience in Java and JEE to design, develop, and optimize services that interact with complex Oracle databases. Work with modern development workflows and contribute to an agile, developer-driven environment.

What Youll Do

Develop backend modules and APIs using Java, JEE (Servlets, JSP, EJB, JPA, JMS), and RESTful/SOAP services.
Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL (queries, triggers, stored procedures, packages) for high-performance and clean data management.
Collaborate closely with architects and other developers to deliver robust, scalable features.
Drive debugging, profiling, and tuning efforts across both application and database layers.
Use source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automation, quality, and deployment.
Contribute actively to code reviews, unit testing, and agile team activities.
Maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

2-3 years hands-on coding in Java + JEE frameworks in a production environment.
Expert with Oracle SQL: DDL, DML, joins, optimization, and PL/SQL objects.
Experience building and consuming RESTful or SOAP web services.
Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and common developer tools (Maven, JIRA, IDEs).
Proven troubleshooting and profiling skills at both app and SQL layers.
Bachelors degree in CS, IT, or related field required.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with Hibernate or other ORM tools.
Prior work with application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, GlassFish).
Experience with Unix scripting and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker).
Exposure to front-end technologies for occasional full-stack collaboration.
