About the Role

Engineering Manager

You will play a strategic role in defining the engineering roadmap, ensuring code quality, scalability, and timely delivery for our fast-evolving SaaS-based platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable SaaS solutions.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Leadership to define the product roadmap and translate business goals into technical milestones.
• Architect and review high-performance systems for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Establish engineering best practices CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and career growth for engineers within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new features and product releases.
• Evaluate and introduce modern technologies and tools to improve development velocity and product stability.
• Manage delivery timelines, budgets, and technical debt across multiple projects.
• Own end-to-end system performance, security, and uptime metrics.

Requirements

• 8+ years

  of experience in software development, including at least

  2+ years

  in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong technical expertise in

  Java, Python, Golang, Rust or Java-based architectures.

• Experience with

  cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to scale distributed systems and handle large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Solid understanding of

  CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  , and observability (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working in SaaS / B2B product companies is strongly preferred.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience building

  AI, Interview Intelligence, or SAAS platforms.

• Prior startup experience or exposure to

  early-stage scaling challenges.

• Hands-on coding experience with a strong focus on architectural decision-making.
