Engineering Manager - Asset Life Optimisation

Role Overview: You will provide effective and inspirational leadership to the local mechanical Integrity team, ensuring that it has efficient, motivated, and high-quality staff. As a key leader in the global Asset Lifecycle Optimization leadership team, you will play an active role in planning for resourcing and ensuring high-quality technical delivery of existing and future projects. Your responsibilities will include establishing effective relationships with key global ALO focal points, identifying and recruiting high-quality candidates to grow the local integrity management delivery team, and promoting a safe and healthy working environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership, direction, and assurance to the local delivery team for Mechanical Integrity delivery projects, focusing on high-quality delivery and assurance. - Work with the local recruitment team to identify and recruit high-quality candidates to expand the local integrity management delivery team. - Ensure the team operates within the agreed company business management, ethics, HR, and HSE policies and standards. - Possess a recognized Technical/Engineering Degree, minimum Bachelors level, preferably in mechanical, structural, civil, corrosion, or materials engineering. A masters degree or MBA is advantageous. - Have 15+ years of relevant experience in project delivery gained in a contracting/consulting environment, with a demonstrable track record of project delivery in the mechanical integrity / asset management space. - Be familiar with broad asset management / asset integrity management / risk management principles (e.g., ISO 55000 Asset Management or similar). - Have experience in managing or delivering mechanical integrity / assets in typical oil and gas or process industry equipment, including pipelines (onshore/subsea), pressure equipment, structures, and other processing equipment. - Deliver technical consulting reports and perform mechanical integrity consulting scopes such as integrity management plan development, risk-based inspection, fitness for service assessment, and more. - Demonstrate technical leadership in core integrity management disciplines and have familiarity/experience with integrity management software and international codes and standards around integrity.
