Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Engineering Head BESS position, based in Chennai. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on manufacturing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solutions, overseeing project management, and driving innovation and development. Responsibilities include managing R&D, Engineering, Design for Manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, strategizing technical roadmaps, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient BESS solutions. The Engineering Head BESS will also provide guidance, mentorship, and support to drive the team's growth and success.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Team Management and Team Leadership to inspire and guide high-performing teams.
• Strong background in R&D, Product Development, Engineering Management and Process Management to supervise and ensure successful product Development and Deploying to the market.
• Proficiency in Software Development with a focus on energy systems, batteries, or related technologies.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the BESS, Renewable energy or related industry preferred.
• Advanced degree in engineering, energy systems, or a related field is advantageous.
