Engineering Efficiency Facilitation

As a Logistics Coordinator, your role involves supporting department activities to enhance engineering efficiency through effective management of Logistics Activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying and onboarding new Logistics service providers. - Managing the RFQ/Tendering and negotiation process through the system for contract finalization. - Designing and managing agreements with Logistics Service Providers (LSP). - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for various Logistics activities to ensure better solutions for end customers. - Tracking and ensuring the safety of en-route consignments, with a focus on observing no quality issues during transit, safe handling of parts/vehicles, and proper packaging. - Collaborating with PPC-M, K, G, K, SMG/Warehouse teams for system and process developments. - Initiating cost-saving and new project initiatives. - Conducting periodic reviews of Logistics Service Providers. - Utilizing experience in Part Truck Load, Management of Packaging, and logistics for Raw material & Parts. - Understanding MTD, PO, Invoicing, Taxation, Export-Import, Custom Handling, Packing, Scrapping, and Engg Model Development Cycle. In terms of technical/functional requirements, you should have: - Understanding of Logistics business activities and ensuring operational compliance. - Knowledge of MSIL Systems like Enovia, ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle, and MSIL Production Menu. - Understanding of Transportation, Logistics, warehousing, and Supply Chain Management. - Experience in vendor management and KPI performance evaluation. - Knowledge of Logistics Costing, specifically ZBC. - Proficiency in using computers, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desirable qualifications include having worked in the Automotive OEM sector and possessing a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Automotive Logistics management, demonstrating efficient enhancement and cost-saving initiatives.,
