Engineering Drawing Checking

Role Overview: You will review design layouts/3D models to understand the product's functionality and check assembly drawings and piece part drawings to break down the product definition. Collaborating with the engineering design team and ensuring that all engineering notices are completed accurately will be essential. Additionally, you will provide advice to design control personnel, check redesigns caused by field problems, and develop standard work instructions for complex drawings. Your role will also involve offering counsel to design control engineers on potential problems during the product design phase. Key Responsibilities: - Review design layouts/3D models - Check assembly drawings and piece part drawings - Collaborate with engineering design team - Ensure engineering notices are filled out properly - Provide advice to design control personnel - Check redesigns caused by field problems - Develop standard work instructions for complex drawings - Offer counsel to design control engineers on potential problems during the product design phase Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - 5 to 8 years of engineering experience - Familiarity with Creo 4.0 detailing/modelling practices - Working knowledge of PLM Tool (Preferred Windchill) - Background in drafting and technology - Strong competency in sheet metal design manufacturing processes,
