Experience 4-5 years Key responsibilities will include: Creates and sustains OMSs for existing products Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products. Launches, releases, approves and implements or issues engineering change requests as required to support design engineering and Operations with new and existing products. Job Specific Knowledge: Requires demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, theories, practices and principles. Requires knowledge necessary to perform the job function such as an understanding of the engineering change order process, DFx (Design for Excellence) engineering principles, product development process, value engineering, engineering specification waiver process, Producibility / manufacturability analysis, product structure, bill of materials, product safety requirements, material handling, and root cause analysis. Skills: Requires strong skills in Product technology, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team skills, and quality. In depth knowledge of CAD tools ( UGNX , Creo, Creo Illustrate, Team center & CORE+ ), Familiar with SAP to study product and its disposition status & ECO is a must Requires additional knowledge of systems and software necessary such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Functional Knowledge Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities Business Expertise Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work Leadership No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to team members Problem Solving Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents Impact Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies Interpersonal Skills Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: Yes Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
