About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team: The IT - Application Development team at S&P Global is at the forefront of building innovative solutions on our CIQ platform. The Role As part of the team, you will design, plan, implement, test, and maintain multiple product features related to the backend management of client provided data. This will include collaborating with Database Engineers, other development teams, product designers, and Quality Assurance. Responsibilities and Impact: Architect, design, and implement software-related projects, focusing on backend management of client-provided data. Collaborate with Database Engineers, development teams, product designers, and Quality Assurance to integrate applications on the CIQ platform. Perform analyses and articulate solutions to improve portfolio analytics and customer experience. Design underlying engineering for multiple product offerings supporting a large volume of end users. Develop project plans with task breakdowns and estimates, managing and improving existing solutions. Solve complex problems and determine possible solutions, weighing the costs and benefits. Basic Required Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent. 3-6 years of hands-on object-oriented C# development experience, producing high-quality products. AWS development experience using Lambdas, DynamoDB, S3, etc. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or an equivalent RDBMS. Familiarity with IIS, Web Services (WCF, RESTful JSON), and Windows Services Experience with Continuous Integration, Automated Integration Testing, Unit Tests, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
