Engineer / Senior Engineer / Technical Lead (FPGA)

As an Engineer / Senior Engineer / Technical Lead specializing in FPGA, your responsibilities will include utilizing hardware tools such as oscillators and logic analyzers for hardware debugging. You should possess a solid understanding of digital electronics and design practices. Your role demands a strong sense of ownership, passion for the work, quick learning abilities, analytical mindset, and a keen eye for perfection. Furthermore, effective interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills are essential for success in this position. We are seeking candidates with strong VHDL/Verilog programming skills and a comprehensive knowledge of RTL design, FPGA design, and related tools. Proficiency in the complete FPGA development flow, encompassing logic design, place & route, timing analysis closure, simulation, verification, and validation, is crucial. Experience with various FPGA families such as Xilinx, Intel, Lattice, and Microchip, along with their corresponding development tools, is highly desirable. Familiarity with verification/simulation tools like Modelsim and Questa-sim is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have expertise in troubleshooting and debugging FPGA implementations on hardware boards. Proficiency in debugging hardware/software issues using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and Chipscope/ILA/Signal Tap is necessary. You should be able to interpret synthesis reports, conduct timing analysis, and define FPGA design constraints. Practical experience with communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, etc.) and bus interfaces (AMBA, AXI, etc.) will be beneficial for this role.
