Engineer - Production/Quality(Composite Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

1. Monitoring of Entire Production/manufacturing process, preparation of raw materials for machining, heat treatment, surface treatment, leak test, inspection, manpower planning etc.

2. Ensuring direct and indirect consumable available to production on time to execute production.

3. Coordination and follow up with vendors/contractors for metallic components, machining, surface treatment etc.

4. Ensuring Inward material, In process and final inspection.

5. Implementing Quality System throughout the department and Ensuring product quality by adhering quality procedure and process.

6. Identifying the grey areas and leading the Action Team to find out the root causes and taking Corrective and Preventive actions.

7. Maintaining systematic documentation and traceability for all test reports and approved drawings as per QAP.

8. Trouble shooting and problem solving.

9. Machine Installation and Commissioning, Expansion of plant and facility.

10. Ensuring Safety procedure and standards in shop floor and other areas in coordination with team.

Role And Responsibilities

• Over all responsibilities of Quality control operations.
• Co-ordination for Preparation of Quality Plans and ensure adherence to the same.
• Communicating the project status to Plant Head/Business Head.
• Communicating the non- conformities identified in the projects to the executive director immediately for necessary advice and course of action.
• Shall maintain the internal test report of inward material.
• Interact with stores and arrange for inward material inspection.
• Interact with the production manager and arranging for testing to be submitted to the customer.
• Conducting the internal inspections, final inspections by coordinating with the customers etc.
• Inspection and Acceptance test like lab, ultrasonic testing carried out as per QAP.
• Manpower planning for the department for current and future requirement
• Offering inspection and acceptance test to customer.
• Maintaining all measurement Instruments calibration records.
• Preparation and review of Inspection report, Product log Book, incoming raw materials, route card, Process and QC checklist.
• Ensure the safety measures during critical stages of testing Work place safety at plant.
• Reporting the Non Conformities identified in the process to higher authority and Production department
• Preparation of SOPs, Manuals, Metrics, Review Mechanism to ensure overall availability of equipment and utilities.
