Engineer - Packaging Design

As a Packaging Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing optimized packaging solutions that meet customer needs. You will work closely with the business development team to understand customer requirements and interact with various stakeholders to gather inputs for packaging concepts. Your role will involve developing design concepts in coordination with the Sales and Cross-Functional Team, presenting these concepts to customers for feedback, and coordinating with manufacturing teams for prototype development. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the business development team to understand customer needs - Interact with customers independently or with the sales team to gather input for packaging concepts - Develop optimized design concepts in coordination with Sales and Cross-Functional Team - Present design concepts to customers for feedback and improvements - Coordinate with manufacturing teams and suppliers for prototype development - Conduct testing, validation, and prove the developed design solutions - Create production drawings according to Nefab standards - Ensure all reporting is done as per internal requirements - Maintain documents as per QMS and EMS processes Qualifications Required: - Degree in Engineering - 3 to 5 years of design experience in an industrial solution setup In addition, having an innovative and creative mindset, proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software, experience in testing and validation, costing knowledge, product understanding, attention to detail, quick learning abilities, and strong communication skills are essential for this role. If you have a background in design and application engineering in light engineering, machine building, material handling, storage solutions, or logistics industries, it would be advantageous. Direct exposure to industrial packaging and knowledge of Pulp Tray, Thermoforming Tray, Injection Molding, and Tooling Design will be considered an added advantage.,
