As an Engineer - Moulding & Closing, you will play a key role in optimizing processes, troubleshooting production issues, and driving initiatives for productivity and cost reduction. Your hands-on experience with sand molding and closing processes will be crucial in ensuring efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Records and maintains moulding and closing process setup sheets - Optimizes the moulding and closing process through parameter adjustment, new method application, and qualifications - Assists in troubleshooting production processes - Improves and documents processes on existing molds using systematic techniques - Ensures correct Definition & Deployment of Process Flow on Molding and closing Area - Organizes Molding and closing Shopfloor Documents & Instructions and ensures compliance with Standards - Contributes to initiatives and solutions on Molding and closing Technical Troubleshooting - Drives initiatives for plant productivity increase, material saving, and cost reduction - Develops and improves processes related to Sand System, Core shop, Moulding, Closing, Shakeout, and sand reclamation systems - Evaluates and proposes the use of new technology and equipment - Works with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues - Handles Manpower Planning Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the same field - Hands-on working experience in Manganese Steel Fettling will be desirable - Education: BE Mech./Diploma or relevant fields About the Company: Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the global Sandvik Group, specializes in providing equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries.
