Engineer (Mechanical)

You are urgently required to join as a Mechanical Engineer (Trainee) with the following qualifications and responsibilities: Education: B.E in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 0-2 years As a Mechanical Engineer Trainee, your responsibilities will include: - Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor. - Shadowing senior team members, actively participating, and assisting wherever possible. - Raising concerns and providing suggestions for improvement when appropriate. - Participating in meetings, attending workshops, and engaging in training initiatives. - Taking detailed notes and sharing your findings with your supervisor. - Building professional relationships with team members and colleagues. - Maintaining a high level of professionalism and diligence throughout your work. On the technical side, you will be responsible for: - Performing system hydraulic calculations, including pump selection, sizing, and application. - Sizing pipes and valves, choosing suitable piping materials, and valve types for various applications. - Selecting control valves and defining control valve requirements. - Creating deliverables such as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, valve lists, line lists, and standard detail sheets for new construction or modifications in mechanical systems of power generating facilities. - Preparing datasheets and specifications, reviewing piping models, piping plans, and isometrics.
