You should be an expert in C/C++, design patterns, and principles. Having knowledge in C#, and network protocols like TCP/UDP would be desirable. Experience in safety critical systems will be a big plus. You should be strong in OOPS concepts and data structures. Familiarity with application software development as well as embedded software development is required. It is important that you have a proficient understanding of any one of the code versioning tools (Git, SVN, and Mercurial). Familiarity with formal change control and support processes such as JIRA, BitBucket, Scrum, etc., is necessary. Understanding of V&V approaches and software quality assurance principles is also expected. Candidates with experience in mechatronics, robotics, avionics, or geo-informatics systems will have an added advantage.,
