As a Vehicle Homologation Specialist, your main role involves managing export regulations and homologation compliance for allocated markets. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating vehicle certification activities for export vehicles, ensuring compliance with international regulations such as ECE, EEC, and FMVSS. Your tasks will include developing contacts with technical service providers, importers, and European counterparts, preparing legislative updates, analyzing budgeting and planning for homologations, and acting as a Country champion for allocated markets. Your goal is to ensure all activities and decisions are in compliance with regulations and timelines are met. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate vehicle certification activities for export vehicles including Components, Systems & Whole vehicle for allocated export regions - Develop contacts with Technical Service, Importers, and European counterparts for exchange of regulatory information - Prepare and maintain legislative updates necessary for export homologation and other compliances - Analyze, budget, and plan export homologations in coordination with other teams - Act as Country champions for allocated markets to ensure compliance and timely distribution of legal technical documents - Study engineering changes, conduct impact analysis, budgeting, and planning of testing activities for compliances - Prepare regular reporting to superiors and adhere to departmental guidelines for documentation and certification upkeep Qualifications Required: - In-depth technical knowledge of vehicles and their aggregates & functioning - In-depth knowledge of working of Homologation authorities & Technical services - Familiarity with international regulations like ECE, EEC, FMVSS - Experience in Homologation process for various export markets and self-certification markets (Note: The Job Description did not include any additional details about the company.)
