Key Responsibilities: NPD Activities - Compression Tech: - Work in Compression Technology Products with a focus on motors (both fixed & variable speed) for hermetic compressors - Understand Project & Work Scope, plan and deliver quality output/deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline - Make effective use of software Ansys-RMxprt & Siemens-NX to design motors - Lead document release activities of Product Design Thru RFES, build Inputs For Proto Manufacturing & Test inputs - Prepare engineering documentation including motor specifications & bill of materials NPD Activities - Units & Systems: - Work in Compression Technology Products with a focus on motors (both fixed & variable speed) for hermetic compressors - Understand Project & Work Scope, plan and deliver quality output/deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline - Make effective use of software Ansys-RMxprt & Siemens-NX to design motors - Lead document release activities of Product Design Thru RFES, build Inputs For Proto Manufacturing & Test inputs - Prepare engineering documentation including motor specifications & bill of materials Value Engineering: - Work with Engineering VE team to develop new cost reduction ideas in electrical & electronic parts in both Compression Tech & Units products Education And Professional Qualifications: - Bachelors/master's in electrical engineering - Proficiency in CAD (Siemens-NX preferred); Electromagnetics simulation knowledge added advantage - Basic knowledge of motors, controllers & contactors required - Basic knowledge of HVAC & Compressors required Requirements And Attributes: - Customer focus - Planning & alignment - Tech-savvy Our Commitment to Our People: We are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability.
