Role Overview: As a part of our global climate technologies company engineered for sustainability, you will be responsible for working on Compression Technology Products with a focus on motors for hermetic compressors. Your role will involve understanding project scopes, planning, and delivering quality output to meet expected schedules and timelines. You will utilize software such as Ansys-RMxprt and Siemens-NX for motor design and lead document release activities. Additionally, you will prepare engineering documentation including motor specifications and bill of materials. Key Responsibilities: - Work on Compression Technology Products focusing on motors for hermetic compressors - Understand project scopes, plan, and deliver quality output within expected schedules - Utilize Ansys-RMxprt and Siemens-NX software for motor design - Lead document release activities and prepare engineering documentation including motor specifications and bill of materials - Collaborate with Engineering VE team to develop new cost reduction ideas in electrical & electronic parts Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/master's in electrical engineering - Proficiency in CAD with Siemens-NX preferred; Electromagnetics simulation knowledge is an added advantage - Basic knowledge of motors, controllers, contactors, HVAC, and compressors required Additional Details: At Copeland, we are committed to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions through groundbreaking innovations in HVACR technology.
