Engineer - Design (Engine Installation & Cooling)

Key Responsibilities: - NPI/NTI/current production leadership experience required - Extensive experience in product development for various customers - Proficiency in engine installation & cooling systems application and technical strategy execution - Knowledgeable in machine testing and integrating tests with design and analysis efforts - Skilled in safety, environmental, maintenance, and capital project planning - Strong administration, research, and development strategy experience with budget management - Oversee engine installation & cooling across all platforms - Expertise in engine installation & cooling design, engine design, machine integration design, and manufacturing/assembly - Design machine architecture to meet performance requirements - Define and validate machine performance metrics - Conduct Value Proposition Design analysis - Implement Built-In Quality and Advanced Product Quality Planning principles - Develop cost and should-cost models - Visit current machine facilities and engage with suppliers to assess capabilities and quality - Participate in field follow visits to observe machine applications and gather customer feedback Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - Minimum 8 years of experience in product design and development Additional Details: Relocation is available for this position.
