Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Understand customer engineering requirements
  2. New product development activities.
  3. APQP activities within the organization and adhere to the customer timeline.
  4. Lead timely FAIR Submission & PPAP Approval.
  5. Ensure change management activities within the organization are effective.
  6. Responsible for maintaining established QMS & retaining documented information.
  7. Root cause investigation and establishing corrective action.
  8. Adherences to internal audit & customer audit including third party audits.
  9. Vendor management ( onsite inspection / audits)
  10. Process Capability study / conduct & improvement plan
  11. New Product Development as per APQP timeline
  12. FAIR submission & getting customer approval as per timeline
  13. PPAP submission and approval
  14. Engineering change management

Key Deliverables & Technical skills required

  1. Technical document preparation
  2. MRB Disposition and signoff
  3. Approval of manufacturing of stage drawing
  4. Records Level- 4 documents signoff
  5. Work Instruction/ SOP Level-3 Documents review and approval
  6. Document change request Form Sign Off
  7. Welding & Fabrication Knowledge
  8. Supplier Evaluation & Approval

Other Skills Required

  1. Knowledge of project management tools
  2. Basic Knowledge of UG, Solid works
  3. Knowledge of SAP for day to day transactions
