Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of mechatronics systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your main focus will be on understanding cost drivers associated with systems, quantifying the financial benefits of automation projects, and ensuring user-friendliness to meet or exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you will work on improving PQCDMSE, conducting DFMEA and FMD, and preparing machine architecture and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Understand cost drivers associated with systems - Consider lifecycle costs including engineering, installation, and maintenance during design - Quantify the financial benefits of automation projects - Meet or exceed customer expectations for the system with user-friendliness - Implement strategies to improve PQCDMSE from concept through prototyping - Work with CFT to optimize test set-ups, automation & data collection processes ensuring high quality and repeatable research - Conduct DFMEA, FMD for the system and sub-systems - Prepare architecture for the machine (Electrical/ Software domain) in-line with IPR - Prepare SRS & HRS for machine application requirements & test jigs - Integrate electrical systems (Hardware & Software in machine) to ensure optimum performance - Create validation plan and analyze data - Prepare machine BOM, design documents, and operating instruction manual - Implement new technologies for control system optimization - Implement data-driven process analysis for continuous improvement - Adopt an iterative design approach for control systems - Prepare detail requirements and expected results to hardware and software team for application requirements - Prepare validation and verification plan for ensuring the reliability of the electrical system and its intended functions - Adhere to business excellence initiatives Qualifications Required: - N.A Role Overview: You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of mechatronics systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
