About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

Data Science & AI Strategy

  • Design and deploy machine learning models to forecast revenue, prioritize leads, and optimize pricing strategies
  • Create AI-driven market intelligence systems to uncover white spaces and growth zones
  • Build and automate data pipelines that enable real-time decision-making across sales units

Generative AI & Prompt Engineering

  • Develop intelligent prompts and AI workflows using LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.) for content generation, insight extraction, and customer profiling
  • Implement Gen AI interfaces for self-serve analytics and real-time decision support
  • Automate proposal creation, quotation analysis, and campaign recommendations using AI

Advanced Analytics & Visualization

  • Perform high-impact statistical analyses on customer, campaign, and sales data
  • Enrich the Power BI ecosystem with custom models, anomaly detectors, and narrative dashboards
  • Translate data into

    stories and signals

    for CXOs, sales heads, and cross-functional teams

Back-End Systems & Data Governance

  • Build scalable, secure, and governed data systems that integrate CRM, quotation, and QRM workflows
  • Ensure data reliability, lineage, and performance across cloud-based infrastructure
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliant AI and data operations

Preferred Candidate:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Masters in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or Computer Science
  • 3 to 4 years in applied data science or AI roles, ideally in a B2B, sales, or operational environment

Technical Mastery

  • Python, SQL, and data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
  • Hands-on with LLMs, vector databases, and fine-tuning prompts
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure preferred), APIs, and ETL orchestration tools
  • Data viz using Power BI, Plotly, Seaborn or equivalent

Analytical Edge

  • Deep expertise in regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
  • Knowledge of NLP, recommendation systems, and statistical testing
  • Strong data storytelling and executive communication

Business Acumen

  • Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, KPIs, and lead funnel dynamics
  • Prior experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, pricing, and customer success
