Emulation Engineer

As an Emulation Engineer, your role involves designing, programming, emulating, and testing systems according to defined processes. You will collaborate with the solutions/design team to construct prototypes and validate designs. Your responsibilities include testing PLC programs on the Emulation system, checking Emulation at critical points in Automation Solutions, and creating Emulation Videos. Additionally, you will be involved in HMI/SCADA Screens Development & Programming implementation, scripting for new Automation Logic and Concepts, and exploring innovative technology solutions for various automotive applications. Key Responsibilities: - Construct prototypes and validate designs with the solutions/design team - Test PLC programs on the Emulation system and check Emulation at critical points - Create Emulation Videos for Automation Solutions - Develop and implement HMI/SCADA Screens - Scripting for new Automation Logic and Concepts - Explore innovative technology solutions for automotive applications Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/E&TC) - 1 year of experience in warehouse Automation with hands-on experience on Siemens & Rockwell PLC The company is looking for individuals with core knowledge in Siemens (S7-300, S7-1200, & S7-1500) and Rockwell (MicroLogix, Compact Logix & Control Logix) automation systems. You should have the ability to program in multiple languages such as ladder logic, FBD, SCL & STL, and interpret PLC wiring diagrams and Control Narratives. Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Jscript, VBA, SQL, as well as basic Database management skills (MSSQL, MySQL) and experience with server-client SCADA systems is required. Proficiency in HMI/SCADA Screens Development & Programming implementation for Allen Bradley and Siemens systems is essential. Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a sense of ownership are additional competencies expected for this role.
