Emissions Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Emissions Engineer to join the Propulsion System Attributes PED team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing change control processes, ensuring compliance with UN154 regulations, and overseeing the rollout across various markets, including North America (NAS) and Rest of World (RoW) markets. Key responsibilities: Change Control Management: Lead the change control process for emissions-related projects, ensuring compliance with UN154 regulations via DCCB (Design Change Control Board). Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all propulsion system attributes meet UN154 compliance standards and are effectively rolled out across NAS and RoW markets. Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement emissions control strategies and monitor progress. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to emissions compliance and change control processes. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team on emissions-related issues and solutions. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance emissions control and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Emissions Engineer, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of UN154 regulations and change control processes. Experience with DCCB and rollout strategies across multiple markets. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualification: Master's degree in a related field. Certification in emissions control or related areas. Experience with NAS and RoW market regulations.
