• Operate an emergency medical vehicle, ensuring safe transportation of patients.
• Communicate with dispatch and medical facilities to provide patient information and receive instructions.
• Stabilize patients for transport and continuously monitor their condition.
• Document patient assessments and care provided.
• Qualifications:
• Certification as an EMT.
• Valid driver's license, often with a C1 license for ambulance operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech)

• Job Summary: Supports doctors and nurses in a hospital's emergency department by providing basic patient care, maintaining the environment, and handling administrative tasks.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the direction of medical staff.
• Take and record patient vital signs.
• Assist with basic procedures such as blood draws, EKGs, and catheterization.
• Help with patient hygiene, such as changing linens and assisting with bathing.
• Keep the emergency room clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Perform clerical duties like patient transport and data entry.
• Qualifications:
• Certification as an EMT or similar medical training.
• Previous experience in a hospital emergency department is often required.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
