This role requires quick thinking, technical skills, and the ability to handle high - stress situations. Key Responsibilities : Emergency Response : Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents. Assess the situation and provide immediate medical care to individuals in distress. Medical Procedures : Administer basic and advanced life support techniques as required. Perform emergency medical procedures such as CPR, wound care, and airway management. Patient Transportation : Safely transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and stability during transit. Communicate effectively with hospital staff to provide essential patient information. Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including ambulances and life support systems. Conduct regular checks on equipment to ensure readiness for emergency responses. Documentation : Accurately record patient information, treatment provided, and other relevant details. Complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner. Communication : Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical personnel, and other emergency services. Provide clear and concise updates on patient status and treatment. Training and Development : Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on the latest emergency medical techniques and protocols. Provide training to other team members as needed. Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services. Adhere to established protocols and guidelines. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic. Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record. CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry patients.
