Emergency Medicine Specialist

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in emergency medical conditions across all age groups.
• Perform rapid assessments and initiate stabilizing treatments for patients in life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Supervise resuscitation and manage advanced trauma life support (ATLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) procedures.
• Ensure timely referrals to relevant specialties for further management.
• Oversee and guide junior doctors, interns, and emergency medical technicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills.
• Be available for night shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
  

Educational Experience And Requirements

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in emergency/trauma care in a reputed hospital (preferred).
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ATLS is mandatory.
• Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
• Valid medical registration (MCI/NMC/State Medical Council).
