Job Title: Emergency Call Respondent Location: Ernakulam, Kerala Job Type: Full-Time Department: Emergency Response Team (ERT) Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and quick-thinking Emergency Call Respondent to join our 24/7 Telecare Monitoring team. You will be the first point of contact for elderly and vulnerable clients during emergencies. Your calm demeanor and swift action can make a life-saving difference. Key Responsibilities: Answer emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally Assess caller needs and initiate appropriate responses, including alerting medical personnel or family contacts Use telecare systems to monitor client alerts Record accurate incident details and maintain updated case notes Provide reassurance and verbal assistance to callers in distress Coordinate with field response teams, hospitals, and care providers Perform regular courtesy calls and follow-up checks Adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards at all times Requirements: Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations Basic computer and mobile app proficiency Prior experience in healthcare, customer service, or emergency response is a plus Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends Nursing, social work, or healthcare-related education is an advantage Preferred Qualities: Emotionally resilient and patient Strong decision-making ability Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility Culturally sensitive and respectful to diverse populations Why Join Us?
