Embedded Manager

Position Overview

The Embedded Manager will lead the entire electronics department, overseeing both hardware and software teams. The role involves managing product design, development, testing, documentation, and delivery of electronic products. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in hardware (PCB design, circuit analysis, component selection) as well as software (embedded coding, firmware development). This position requires excellent leadership skills, project management experience, and exposure to ISO documentation and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Hardware Development

• Lead hardware design activities including

  PCB design, schematic development, and layout review

• Perform

  circuit analysis, testing, validation

  , and design optimization.
• Guide component selection based on technical requirements, cost, reliability, and availability.
  
• Coordinate with the purchase team for

  electronics components procurement

  and vendor evaluation.
• Ensure hardware designs meet

  safety, EMI/EMC, and compliance standards

2. Embedded Software Development

• Oversee embedded firmware development using C/C++ or relevant languages.
  
• Review code, ensure coding standards, debug issues, and optimize performance.
  
• Coordinate integration of hardware and software for complete product functionality.
  
• Support product testing, validation, field issues, and release management.
  

3. Product Design & Development

• Manage the full product lifecycle:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Quality, Purchase).
  
• Ensure timely release of prototypes and final production files.
  

4. Team Management

• Manage and mentor

• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
  
• Conduct technical training and support performance evaluations.
  
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  

5. Documentation & ISO Compliance

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design files, test reports, BOM, and revision control.
  
• Ensure compliance with

• Define and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for design and development.
  

6. Cross-Department Coordination

• Support production, assembly, installation, and service teams with technical guidance.
  
• Coordinate with quality and testing teams to resolve product issues and improve design reliability.
  
• Participate in customer discussions, requirement analysis, and technical presentations as needed.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in

  Electronics, Electrical, EEE, ECE

  or related field.

• 710 years

  of experience in electronics product development.
• Strong expertise in

  hardware design

  , PCB layout tools, circuit debugging.
• Hands-on experience in

  embedded software development

  , RTOS, microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of

  product certification

  , safety standards, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  
• Experience in

  ISO documentation

  and maintaining design processes.
