Job Description

Educational Qualification: Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Role Description

Responsibilities Duties :

Closely collaborate with systems engineers to define the specifications, lead the software design/implementation, and integrate/validate software in a larger system.
Mentor/coach engineers in the team to drive outcomes.
Translate mission requirements and various satellite subsystem requirements into reliable flight software for Pixxels satellites.

Minimum Requirements:

2-5 years of hands-on software design and development experience on complex embedded computing platforms.
Strong in C/C++ programming, data structures and algorithms
Well-versed with RTOS/Linux and ARM/RISC-V processor architecture
Hands-on experience in designing and debugging user and kernel space drivers
Experience with build tools, board support packages, bootloaders, and memory management
Good debugging skills using Software/Hardware debuggers.
Experience with CI/ID and using version control software (preferably Git).

Preferred Requirements:

Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Embedded Programming, or similar field
Experience in designing safety/mission-critical products is a bonus

Knowledge of, or experience with, any of the following is a plus

AMD (previously Xilins), Microsemi, or related System on Chips (SoCs)
Yocto
Static analyzers and formal verification tools
