Excited to share an opportunity to join our Embedded Systems / Software Engineering team at Teledyne ISCO, where we’re building advanced embedded platforms for industrial applications.

We’re looking for a talented Embedded Linux Developer with experience in building custom Linux-based operating systems using Yocto, and a strong background in kernel-level and user-space development.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain custom Embedded Linux distributions (Yocto, Buildroot)

• Develop kernel modules, device drivers, and bootloaders (U-Boot)

• Write user-space applications in C, C++, Python, Shell

• Optimize system performance and boot time

• Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and documentation

• Troubleshoot across the full embedded stack

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• 3 to 6 years of Embedded Linux development experience

• Strong Yocto Project expertise

• Proficiency in C, C++, Shell scripting, Python

• Experience with SBCs (Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, etc.)

• Familiarity with Linux kernel, networking, and IPC

✨ Bonus Skills:

• PG Diploma in Embedded Linux

• Experience with Buildroot, OpenEmbedded

• Knowledge of secure boot, OTA updates

• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI
